SKIN WELLNESS PLACE

The architectural proposal was born from a strong spatial contrast: a tall shell flooded with uncontrolled natural light, which needed to be transformed into a space of interiority and calm.
 

Rather than suppressing the original qualities of the space, the design used them as the starting point for a gradual sensory transition: from large to small, from extroversion to isolation, from distraction to concentration. This transition was organised through distinct geometries, material qualities and carefully controlled lighting.
 

Within the large open shell, smaller autonomous units were introduced, each with its own geometric and sensory character. They do not operate as conventional fixed rooms, but as independent volumes that appear to float within the original space.
 

The aim of the composition was to create an experience of deep relaxation, gradually removing the user from external intensity and allowing the perception of time to fade.
