Founder Architect | Interior & CMF Designer
Ourania Tyliou is an architect, interior designer and founder of otarch studio, a creative architecture and design practice based in Athens, with an activity currently developing in Milan.
With more than fifteen years of professional experience, she has designed and implemented residential projects, interiors, workspaces and exhibition booths for international fairs.
Her practice is grounded in the connection between architectural thinking, interdisciplinary collaborations and the direct experience of construction, use and everyday life within space.
Her professional path expanded in Milan through the completion of the Master in CMF & Sensorial Design at POLI.design – Politecnico di Milano. This specialization extended her architectural field towards colour, materials, finishes and sensorial experience, not as complementary elements, but as active tools of design.
In parallel, her research focuses on the ways in which color and material choices are connected to perception, emotion and cultural context. Her previous engagement with dance and physical theatre has further shaped her understanding of space as an experience lived through the body, movement and the senses.
Today, through otarch studio, she combines her experience in architecture and interior design with her contemporary direction in CMF and Sensorial Design, developing projects defined by clarity, material coherence and a meaningful relationship with people.
